Unmatched Experience with foil assisted vessels

We have over twenty years of experience in designing and building foil-assisted yachts up to 142ft, and have, without exception, transformed the performance and comfort of these vessels thanks to the foils. The retractable foils have been proven to reduce pitching by as much as 42% on superyachts and heeling by 30%.

The retractable foils are custom designed, in conjunction with the hulls, to ensure as comfortable a ride as possible, allowing guests to travel in confidence, knowing there is no other waterborne travel that would provide the same comfort and safety.

Engineered and designed by a team with America’s Cup credentials and to a level higher than any comparable vessel on the market.

The construction of the vessel is in epoxy composite, with engineering by Pure Design in New Zealand, the same company that engineers the America’s Cup winner “Emirates Team New Zealand”. The lead naval architect, Hugh Welbourn has been involved in America’s Cup, Whitbread/Volvo Ocean Race and Olympic design for over thirty years.

Fuel Efficiency

Thanks to the naval architecture, lightweight construction and retractable foils, the fuel efficiency of the Infiniti Powercat is unmatched in this performance envelope. Recognizing that for swift offshore passage-making batteries are simply not viable, it has been our goal to ensure that the fossil fuels used to run the boat are used as efficiently as possible, but still with performance that ensures speeds of up to 40 knots.
